Art Competition Update by Cosmo

Hi, I’m Cosmo 🚀

I am an interplanetary pet named by a follower on Instagram! Soon, you will be able to read all about my barking mad story. Today, I wanted to update you on our art competition.

While children have been having a ruff time during the pandemic, we were really pleased to be launching our creative art competition for families and classrooms.

Earlier this month, we celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week with an ‘Express Yourself’ theme. This gave us the time to consider how much being creative can allow children to express themselves in a healthy way.

We believe there is fun to be had, lessons to be learned and emotions to express while reading and creating ‘Beep’s Journey Home’. With only 25 competitors being featured in the final puplication, we want to offer every competitor the best shot at a win!

If you would like to enter a scene, we would like to throw you a bone! Lots of children and families pick the same scenes to draw, leaving many scenes with less competitors. This can be tough for us as we want everyone to have the best chance of winning. We recommend entering the following scenes:

  1. Getting Permission
  2. Learning to Play
  3. Time For Sleep
  4. Shhh
  5. Time To Leave

So that’s all from me today, but if you would like to discover or name other upcoming characters, follow Neck Of The Woods UK on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
